Brass ship Standing Light (Lantern) marked "M'F'R'D BY PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORP. RN / BROOKLYN NEW YORK," with swing handle. C.1916. Used aboard US Naval Torpedo boats, battle ships and destroyers of the World War I era. According to the book: Lanterns that Lit our World, book 2, Page 120 by Anthony Hobson: these lamps are quite rare.  The lower front of the lamp is marked The glass has some cracks, but is all there. The kerosene components are still there, but someone electrified it at some point. 17"H x 8"W
